20/15 was a project that I conceived and implemented together with Laura Woodtli in 2015. Our goal was to go well beyond the ordinary, so instead of creating a typical collection, we designed and hand-sewed 15 burgundy men's shirts that reflected the spirit of that year. The creative direction of the presentation was developed collaboratively, and the final looks were photographed by Moritz Schernbach. The name 20/15 refers both to the project year and to our commitment to distinctive, high-quality menswear outside the mainstream.
The presentation took place in a conference room, lending the collection a unique and intimate atmosphere. The photos depict the men both with and without their phones, making them appear similar at first glance. Yet, none of the men wearing the shirts are “standard.” The intention was to highlight the subtle differences and unique identities of each individual—even though they all wore the same garment.
The shirt itself is anything but ordinary: it features a rare stand-up collar and an extended length, creating a silhouette almost reminiscent of a dress—a striking and unconventional choice for menswear. This design emphasizes the idea that individuality persists even within apparent uniformity, inviting the viewer to perceive the nuances and distinct personalities of each wearer.
